Much of what you advise is SPOT ON so fantastic work! However, ths '100 sales a day' thing, or even half that number, is an unrealistic goal for the average affiliate, or paysite owner.

Do the math: 100 sales a day translates into 3,000 sales a month. $30 a sale (average) and we're talking ONE MILLION DOLLARS IN REVENUE MONTHLY. And what percentage, from 100 sales a day, would rebill? Let's be positive and say 20%. Great, that's six hundred rebills monthly. So, six months in, and you've got....call it a thousand rebills (although if you're pumping three thousand sales a month you should be able to retain higher than 20%) but just for shit's sake let's call it a thousand rebills a month. That's another what, $360,000 a year, just in rebills?

My friend, if you are talking THOSE kinds of numbers then whatever info or teaching an affiliate could learn from this thread probably would not apply to them. in other words, if you're cranking out $12-$15 MILLION DOLLARS in revenue yearly then, well, open a college and stop reading this thread altogether. LOL

A more 'realistic' goal, IMHO, for an affiliate or paysite owner who is a 'small' affiliate, or even a medium-sized one, would be 10-20 sales a day. 20 sales daily translates into (app) 600 sales a month times $30 equals...$18,000 in monthly revenue. I think its a great idea..my only issue is I think leaving the article in the main forum for a week is too long..I think 24-48 hours in the main forum and then move it to the Edu forum while the discussion is hopefully still active. Or possibly display the topic in both forums simultaneously if you are set on the 1 week time frame.

7) tube's havent hurt sales one bit on paysites, anyone who says they have didnt match the facebook and twitter and myspace alexa graphs to their sales.
8) if you think a reality tour or some bs designer who has never run a paysite knows how to make a good tour. You are on crack. Same goes for gallery designers if they dont submit galleries to big sites themselves then why buy from them?
9) your host matters dont go with the cheapest or the most expensive, test them out call them at 2 am and tell them your server is down find out how long it takes for them to get back to you. Check the connectivity and peer network they use.
10) if you run a paysite and use one or two billers, you are making a mistake have 10 mitigate your risk and thruput by adjusting your biller to the sales thru put of the moment.
