    Is this a fake? It blew my mind - video

    Ok, I was handed this link and this video blew my mind, I watched it a few times, and then I sent it to my husband who used to work in Construction and he says there is no way..... it's a video trick.....

                                      Not only is that impossible, especially when someone happens to be filming -- the reaction and acting is amateurish and not authentic, and in slow mo it looks CG.

                                      I do CG for a living, so I can recognize they used particle effects, but that's not even the give-away...it just doesn't feel like a natural candid scene.

                                                      The blade is on a wire that is grounded, the board has a wire coil on it that is charged, the blade hits it, sparks are made, from the completed current, making a switch flip and everything falls apart.

                                                                              you only see 2 sides of the board, if you cut the indie out of the other 2 sides and left it like 1/16" of an inch thick on the visible sides just hitting it with the blade would break it.

                                                                                                          good point. i have a cordless dewalt and if the battery is low it will spin way faster than that guy could spin it, but as soon as it touches the 2x4 it slows it down and doesnt cut more than an inch.
