Well, the product's out. The iPad. Just based on the tweetersphere, many apple fans feel left down. The complaints range from the name to the pricing uncertainty. Let's see if Apple can recreate the success of the iphone with this device.

I think it might potentially be really good to use for artists, having a portable tablet would be cool...but I don't see much benefit other than that

Well, they have one kick ass marketing dept... they did it with the iPod (nearly every gen), the iPhone, and now this - *ALL* major news agencies will have iPad on their home page right now.
That takes some doing.
