So I wrote a screenplay about a porno actor..($50 inside)

Actually, I co-wrote it with a friend of mine..

It's called The Burning Love of Dong Bonders and it's a comedy (in case the title didn't tip you off).

We entered it into the BlueCat Screenplay Competition, and by default were entered into the Best Title competition as well. I guess the funky title paid off because we made it into the top 20.

Now, the whole reason for starting this thread..

I know good karma should be motivation enough for you to vote, but since this is GFY, I'm going to offer a little incentive

If we win, I'll give $50 to someone in this thread (or you can have 12 blog plugs, variety of niches available). Payout will be epass or PP, your choice.

If you want a shot at winning, you gotta post something amusing after you vote (a video clip, a picture, whatever).. And it has to be porno related. Who ever cracks me up the most gets the prize.

I sold a screenplay in 96 that went direct to video and rewrote someone else's that did the same (LOL, hope he doesn't have a contract on my life now - he's a fairly prolific television director). Wrote a bunch more and even got paid for a couple more since, and still get some chump change foreign levies from the WGA every year that help fill up my car at the gas pump.

i read the 'About Us' section - it's run by Phillip Seymour Hoffman's brother who is a failed screenwriter/director according to his bio. what does Bluecat do besides this contest?

Haha, that's awesome dude. I've yet to sell anything, but not about to give up. I must admit I'd be a wee bit disappointed if my script turned into a straight to DVD job, but I'm sure the fat check would help me cope with the pain, LOL. Thanks for your vote, much appreciated
