Significance of Dedicated IP for SEO
I read some conflicting articles about whether there is any difference between a dedicated ip for a domain or shared ip with numerous domains for SEO. Whats your experience? Is it better to have a dedicated ip for optimum google and search engine traffic? |

				 | Optimum results: Dedicated IP and on different C-blocks. Reasonably good results while saving costs on IP's: Dedicated IP on same C-blocks. WG

				 | meh. imo all that shit is BS. As long as the content of the various sites doesn't conflict (similar niche) there's no need for new IP's since the sites aren't competition for each other. |

I would say better than reasonably.. I would say you can get solid and good results but it will take longer and be more work. I have been watching some sites sitting in solid positions for a long time and they are Not on dedicated class c

				 | I was just talking with my host about that and I wouldn't see much of a difference with love from google regardless of which way I went.

				 | It will not break you but having dedicated and spaced out ips will certainly help to make you. Every little bit helps and trust me, it does make a difference if done correctly. Spaced out C's at a minimum but I even do 3 seperate A's ;) edit* I just randomly took a look at a few of your sites and you still have alot to learn as far as onpage optimization goes. The ips will help for sure but is definetly not a end all be all type of thing. |

				 | I have noticed that this is mostly a factor for inter connected sites. If you do not cross link or run same content, you will get no benefit from using unique blocks/c class/

				 | I agree. Although it seems less meaningful than before. I'm not saying I would half-ass it, I'm just saying people that do half-ass it seem to be doing better.

Half-assing allows a guy to bounce from site to site, or term to term, and mass create. A perfectionist would never take his eyes of his 'precious' few sites to get benefits from doing things en masse. (very few of them anyways)
