Amazing how a lot of the people in this thread have no idea who they are talking to.
Yigal's sites are worth more than he is asking. And he will get every penny that he asks for it too. Joggs is one of the best big tit traffic sites in the world. And he is one of my biggest affiliates of all time...and if you ask any big tit paysite owner out there they will tell you the same thing.

Based on the numbers and information provided, his asking price seems very realistic.
Many of the people that won't pay more than 6 months income are the same one's the complain about tubes, piracy, etc. They think that this multi-billion dollar industry is going to collapse overnight and fail to see that it's just contracting and re-adjusting in a recession like almost every other industry.
Established and stable mainstream businesses can easily get 5 years of income as the sale price. Three years for an established and stable adult network is not unrealistic. Established and stable are the keywords in the previous sentence.Comment

Yigal is straight up. He's smart, and doesn't frequent boards like GFY because he doesn't have any patience for the kind of thing this board has become. He posted up business, and then was questioned by folks who have no business questioning him because they aren't serious and/or aren't actual buyers.
Not everybody enjoys this place. but it is a good spot to get the news out. Especially when you are doing something like selling Joggs.Com. I don't blame him one bit for his response. He has no reason to entertain your questions or anyone elses quite frankly.
People who know what he's selling and have the extra money to buy it will contact him. Those who don't will make statements on GFY about how much it is "worth".

Robbie you're always so in the know about everything - you tell us all what networks/programs have sold for 3 years earnings or close to it? If 3 years earnings were even remotely possible there would be a STAMPEDE of people trampling over each other to get to the exit door.
When hahaha was on his buying spree a few years ago buying up programs left and right, in a better business climate, super 'aggresive' x-sales, pre-economic crisis he wasn't paying anywhere near 3 years earnings.
Somebody who pays him 3 years or close to it might be making a good investment but it just doesn't happen in this industry. Maybe he'll luck out and find the one person who just has to have his traffic and has that kind of money liquid.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. ALL I was saying was the usual "for sale" threads I've seen end up in the 6mo max range and got my face bit off about it. He could have just as easily replied with why I'm wrong and it would have been the end of it but he chose to fire off a smart ass remark like a true dick instead.
I really don't give to shits about his sites or the sale I was just voicing my opinion. His rude reply was in no way warranted or necessary. I wasn't trolling or busting balls. And a few years back Porn Access had a give-a-way contest for a T-Rex. I never lost any sales contest I set my sites on. Won all kinds of shit over the years. I decided I wanted that T-Rex.
I KILLED it on sales. Only to find out in the end I came in second place. Joggs.Com beat me.
He earned my respect right there. And when we finally met in Amsterdam a few years later he cemented my respect.

If I could give you a few pointers that may help your sale.
1. lose the attitude. Yes the majority of GFY is retarded. We all know that. The problem is not everyone knows who you are (just like not everyone knows who I am). If someone is referred to this thread and reads your replies they won't even bother contacting you. Simply because you aren't coming off as the guy that you are. Try to lose that. Just answer the questions calming and without emotional attachment. You want to sell the sites so put your salesman hat on and take all the bs thrown your way and ignore it.
2. I wish you the absolute best of luck and I really hope you get your asking price. Just from a buyers stand point I want to let you know 3 years income is insane right now. If you get it you are the luckiest guy alive. Why? Because you are selling sites that are in two markets that are at the end of their life cycle. There is very little upside to the sites. Your price point puts you in position to deal with only serious people and most will know that. If you really want to sell and leave the industry I highly recommend you be flexible with your asking price. If you hold out you may regret it.

I agree 100%. I've said this before. The ideal time to sell a paysite network was Summer of 2008. The ideal time to sell a TGP network was 2007ish. That is when you could have asked top dollar for each. Top dollar imo being 3 years. Since then TGPs have taken a hit like no other. Any tgp that is still doing well is doing well because it is well managed. It will no doubt have a rough 2010 and 2011. Paysites are facing a number of challenges in 2010 and 2011. Nobody in their right mind will pay 3 years for a TGP and Paysite business. The future for both is far to uncertain. Paying 3 years revenue on 2009 numbers will take 5+ years to recoup imo.Comment
