now that i have your attention , can we please have swf embeds back, its silly that we can only embed non-porn youtube videos on a porn board, you can allow swf embeds with zero security risk , or at the very least pick a legal adult tube, or run one of the many tube scripts just for the board, it would pay for itself.

need help setting it up in vbulletin, icq me

and Last Poster aswell as Thread Starter would make it easier to tell if a thread has been updated, and you also click on threads of posters you follow

flash can bypass some browser security things. It's not safe to allow any swf embed.

google does it. not that it makes it ok , but they must not think it poses a security risk.

I'm sure there is some screening process by google being done like human testing each new swf file thats getting embedded at least once or something.

human testing heh , no . even if they did, the urls are external you could swap one in an instant, i have a few vids on there i can make anythng show up in google's embed, theres no way out of allowscriptaccess=never

I run a forum and I used to run it with VBulletin ... but I crossed it over to IP Board 3 and two things are immediately awesome about IP Board 3 ...

1) It has a fully working mobile skin built in

2) It's about 100x better in every goddamn respect than Vbulletin.

And ... it wasn't hard to get my VBulletin databases over, with all users, all blogs, all posts etc.
