Well that was uncomfortable as hell... I could have used more valium and more numbing drops. Was very happy that it was over.
Had an hour of intense burning with crazy tearing, but I managed to pass out and wake up 6 hours later feeling fine... I spent the rest of the night with my eyes closed for the most part but every time I looked at something I was surprised at the clarity. Just woke up, eyes are pretty blurry from all the different eyedrops and shit, but can't wait to head to my follow up appointment and see how the world looks. |
I remember the morning after and gazing with wonder that I could see the end of my bed without my glasses.

I remember smelling my eyes burning... ;)
I had my gf at the time (porn chick Candy Manson..lol) walk me to my car.. she drives home.. I passed out for hours.. woke up and walked outside.. look out of the dark glasses and behold.. the most amazing crystal-clear clarity Id ever seen.. it was like buying new eyes.. couldn't believe it.. plopped $4000 in $20bills down to them.. it was the best buy ever. Congrats on yer new eyes, yer gonna love it...use the drops and the lubricating drops for as long as poss.. it helps not get dry eye and helps in healing or you might see a little bit of halos again someday.. which is kinda normal..but at least I can read signs a mile away again. |
Let's see if it improves your shooting accuracy at hockey Wed :winkwink:

good luck with it, I want to get it done also but since my eyes seem to still change...I would need to go back for adjustments more often. My sister inlaw had it done 4 years ago...and she just started to notice a slight decrease from 20/20.
