    Google and Subdomains

How does Google treat subdomains, do they give them as much weight as the tld.

I have read a bunch about it but no one gives any definitive answers, what are your experiences??

    Hey it worked for del.icio.us....

Sub-domains rule. It is the way to get two listings in the top 10.

Does anyone know if a domain is banned in Google if creating a sub domain will also be banned? or will the sub domain be treated as completely new and be ok?

Yes, it will be banned. But if sub domain is banned, than the main domain isn't automatically banned.

How are you deciding that your site has been "banned?"

I had domain banned/ penalized, where the subdomains where still ranking 1st in google.

I have one site with like 12 000 subdomain and it give crazy google juice to the domain ilink with them.
