do you scan posts by thread title or by user?

then when there's really nothing 'interesting' going on, I'll go by user and if it's a good thread/topic user, I'll go in to see what it was about.

Nicky is dead on... but there are some users I'll definitely click even if I know there is no biz to be made. Some of the assclowns on GFY really give me a good laugh and they do say laughing is healthy ;-)

A little of both, but my eyes usually drift toward "user" first. You can guess how a thread will go based on who started it.
