Phone video/display specs - who can help?

huh? you can't have just one video format/resolution that will work well for all mobile phones. you need different videos for different phones. let them click some links/icons to play the version that is for their phone.

stupid phone manufacturers should all be capable of streaming FLV's.

Thats what im trying to do now, but to make sure i have the most common/general phones i need their specs/formats so i can get them encoded in a way that i can reach them all with easy playable videos.

Here's a good link for encoding for the T-Mobile G! which is an Android phone:

That should help you with Android. One issue you might have are the different resolutions. The Droid and Nexus One both have different resolutions that are already different from the rest of the Android phones. (ie. G1, MyTouch3G, Samsung Moment, Hero, etc)

Aside from Apple, most of them will quite soon. Flash 10.1 is already available on the Nexus One, which means the rest of the Android lineup will probably get it shortly.

Windows Mobile already can do Flash, with the Skyfire browser.

yes it has but not the mobile template, we have one default mobile skin ready after this weekend..
