as for them reviewing the title. Its funny I don't remember the title the first time it was uploaded but I'm pretty sure that its the same title this time as it was the 2nd time if not its just very familiar.Comment

Sadly peachez, as others have already pointed out, they don't care. Why would they? Videos like yours are what keep more and more surfers coming to their network of sites, increasing their bottom line at absolutely no cost to them. They will remove your vids, but chances are the same vids will be back up within a day or two. Hell, I would be willing to bet that when they do "remove" the content, it's still up on one of their other sites..

Yea, I hear ya I know they don't care and I'm sure that your right shit theirs probably more of that video on the same site under a different name.. But I figure maybe if I point this out Next time it gets uploaded they wont approve it.. Or just be a little more conscious about what they are approving because we all know a lot of these videos they approve are from solo sites that everyone knows ( including them ) ..Comment

How many successful copyright violation lawsuits against major tube sites have you heard of... My guess is 0 if I'm wrong I apologize for my ignorance please point me to some info I would love to read up on that

I was under the impression that because all of the content is user submitted and controlled to the point that its taken down immediately following a DMCA that those lawsuits will never be successful.

Well, you might want to start by subscribing to the trade mags for the adult industry. That will bone up on who is sueing who and for what. That should take care of the education part of your request. Here is part two...
In the adult industry, the boards, trades, seminars and the rest are little more than sabre rattling. A lot of we are going to do this, and you are in for that. There have been many lawsuits, and copyright complaints FILED over the years.
There have been many of these lawsuits that have been dragged out for months or years. Costing thousands, if not tens of thousands, of dollars. However, when it gets to the final day in court, the verdict, or right before they go TO court.... seems they always fold and settle in some non-disclosed agreement.
Now, while you think big deal. Not successful. Did not cost me $150,000.00 per video. They can simply drain you dry with the legal system, motions, flying to where the fuck ever, or counter motions and legal fees.
Additionally, I would bet good cash money most of the people running tubes have not set up their business properly. Including an LLC, seperate business bank accounts, keeping your monies seperate, and so on. So they are just begging to be personally sued into oblivion by a company who can outspend you.
Now.... all of that said,.... would you take the risk tootsie?

Barefootsies: Yea Im well aware of all the lawsuits that have taken place. However like I mentioned None have been successful for " copyright infringement " you are right People have been close Im sure a few have settled for undisclosed amounts. But I think in order to actually be successful they need to take a different route. I think there is a 40mil $ lawsuit against redtube right now for loss of income and damages against the company resulting in the need to sell.. well see how that ends up. I wish the best of luck to whoever it is. Infringement is obviously the cause and I think we can agree we all want to find a way to end the illegal sharing.
Frozenjag : Yea honestly I would have dealt with it in a different way if I had our watermark/link to the site, shit may have just left it but with all the videos I find thats never the case unfortunately.
Redskorpio: Yea I agree Im sure there are people editing the content then uploading it but they are doing it as well , I have had there watermarks placed where mine used to be. ///
GatorB: No I don't think the content on there is legit which is why I started this thread to begin with , I think its total bullshit just like everyone else that has to constantly deal with getting there content down. And I agree they probably don't review anything like they say, and if they do They may just look at the name/ first 5secs and click approve. Make sure there are no Horses and little kids..Comment
