New blog host Pornblogs.com - What do you think?

Hi Guys,

We have released the beta of a new adult blog host called Porn Blogs and just opened it up for signing up:

http://www.pornblogs.com

The ideas behind PornBlogs.com are:

- It should be a platform for webmasters to host and create blogs
- It should act as a hub for surfers and generate traffic to the hosted blogs through the main page, through links and a search field on top of each blog
- Beside that it should be a porn social network

Here is a simple sample blog so you can see the top and bottom bars and the search field:

We have tried to make this as much as possible webmaster friendly and have included many different templates and plugins like All in One Seo Pack, Simple Tags, AddThis Social Bookmarking Widget and much more.

looking good, the only thing that i don't like over there is: you have to tweak some wordpress themes too much outbound links in footer, all in all great name etc.. but needs a little bit tweaking, cheers!

Congrats on launch... get ready to delete 1000 spam blogs per day... not porn spam from webmasters... I am talking about ref spam, spam accounts and spam comments. Even shutting off new registrations didn't work for us... we had to actually kill the registration code to stop it because even with captcha and everything else they were able to create new blogs.

You are an idiot. All those spammers use built-in XML-RPC to spam the blog with various shit (usually farma) from their own servers. Do you know what XML-RPC is???

The CyberSEO Suite is useful only for those webmasters that use sponsored RSS feeds (like the Fetish Hits' one BTW).

Seperate the gay and straight blogs. The whole top half of your front page is Gay sites. I've personally nothing against it, but a lot of straight surfers might be turned off

another big lesson... if you use one of those rss feed aggregators... make sure you limit how many posts they can import... I had multiple webmasters import 40k+ posts and it killed mysql.

I believe it was FeedWordPress. Right? FeedWordPress is always trying to pull ALL available post from every syndicating feed at once. You just can't set it to syndicate 1 post per day or so.

FYI: The CyberSyn aggregator is totally free. You can use it where you want and how you want. I don't asking any cent for it, and there is no the "please donate me something!" button in the plugin's control panel.

It starts off nice, then you get a first wave of spammers, then you get a second and third. Then other sites on your server start to suffer under this, and before you know your blog host is a major time eater. And those spammers get smart also, they come with new tricks every day. No sir, i wish for you a lot of good people on your blog host, but be sure, when you wave with a pot of Honey, flies come to you also.
