It depends. They may hate you on your success or they may actually have a reason to not like you. I noticed that a lot of people that claim to have many haters, usually act like an ass and then claim to be a victim when called on it.

I see people on Twitter all the time making posts just for their haters. Pretty weird.

Or ... they may have deep psychological issues that cause them to hate on others for reasons that are not always - shall we say "sensible" :thumbsup

Someone asked why is Avatar so popular and I reply with my opinion, had NOTHING to do with me beging negative LOL its common sense that msot people are going see Avatar based on herd mentality, analyzing that aspect of society and trends does not make me negative.

Some of you try way too hard to be a psychiatrist on gfy and read too deep into crap people post on a public forum.

Please dude. There are plenty of threads, especially among what is currently popular at the moment that you chime in with comments about it being stupid, that you just don't get it and that you would never waste your time doing such a thing, etc. not exactly positive. and don't get me wrong, you may be right but don't go getting on your high horse about yourself.

Any time we make a change in our lives, others in our environment will either be a help or a hindrance to our making permanent progress. If they continue to think of us in the same way as they have in the past, then their sense of certainty (beliefs) about who we've been can actually serve as a negative anchor, temporarily pulling us back into the old limiting emotions and beliefs that were once a part of our identity.

We must be aware that we hold the ultimate power to define who we are. Our past does not determine our present or future. Take action and claim your new, empowering identity, starting today.

just something I have noticed, the more positive and productive you are the more those around you seem to envy and dislike you more.

You could come here and say you just won a million dollars, you have 100 virgins in your bed and a house in every state and there would be a list of haters!!

Haters, your jealousy wont taint success!

Remain positive and productive and watch those around you show their true colorsand feelings about you.

In your case kid...the majority of your posts are in the negative mode.

This thread wouldn't have been complete without a visit from Grandpa Death.

it's a human nature, just different degree of hating, some go overboard

You know people, a disagreement is not "hating". Stop fucking with the language and you will be able to make points more clearly and succinctly. Believe me "dictionary" is not a "big word". Oh yeah...my rant...its spelled loser not looser. For those of you who are in Vegas, notice all the billboards for "Looser Slots". I am sure this will just wizz right over many heads around here.

That is true as well. All three can be reasons to be a "hater" Which by the way, I hate that term. :thumbsup

Agent 488 01-12-2010 06:04 PM

hater is a white trash term.

That's a really good point about not being able to id your peer group online (or having those lines blurred). . . I've never thought of it that way and that does go a long way to explaining hypercritical troll behavior.

Some people just like to poke fun at you cause they think you are stodgy or dull... or they like you and want to pull your pigtails.

lighten up.
