    Cheap server streaming software for one voyeur cam, anyone PLEASE :)

    Hello

    I have a model and want to setup a streaming cam of her on one of my voyeur paysite member areas.

    I have found lots of cheap stuff, but it splits the stream from the internet connection and will not handle many people watching that way on a cable modem.

    I just want to be able to send the stream to my server and let my server handle the bandwidth. I dont need any billing or extra stuff like the software I have been looking at that cost $4000 ++

    anyone have any ideas?

                  Guys, I think pornofreak is after the script to provide the cam server & not the actual server.

                  I too am still on the hunt for the best, which includes the best priced scripts & software for cam systems.

                  I would like something like the AW system.

                      he wants to push the stream from his webcam pc to a centralized server in a datacenter where lots of people can watch this stream simultaneously instead of being limited by his cable connection. I am not sure how you want to solve that problem with a script?

                          yes, I'm just looking for cam software, not another server. where she could login and stream via an embed in my members area.

                          it's easy to do, kinda like all the cam sites use, but I don't want to spend 5k for streaming software. I don't need all those extra features that make the software cost 4 to 15k.

                                      i don't get how you want to distribute streams with a script?
                                      Your cable connection has insufficient capacity to host let's say 10 streams (depends on your cable connection ofcourse as well as streaming bitrate etc) so you will have to push or pull the stream to a server in a datacenter which distribute the stream for you (I didn't say you need a dedicated streaming server right away, you can also use a shared server but you need to distribute your stream either way)

                                          Right, like Leon is saying...sounds to me like you just need to have your stream broadcasted correct?

                                          You can just set up windows media encoder on your local pc and get your stream going via your local IP. The server can grab your stream via your IP and broadcast it. You can get some some basic code to embed on your page for viewers to see the stream. There is really no software or scripting needed for this type of set up. Only WM encoder.

                                          As Tonda posted earlier, we have this option available on shared server for low cost.
