Within the next 10 years I believe we will come up with a cure for most cancers.

Within the next 10 years terrorists will be using biological weapons in the US and EU.

The internet will shut down for a long time, based upon unforeseen vulnerabilities.

Solar panels on all new buildings will be commonplace.

your scaring me, I am not thinking past what is for dinner tonight. Thats like my wife is already planning new home,kids, and schools they are going to.

If I had to make a prediction I would say we will not be changing much, and you will see a lot more protesting from Americans. 10 years is not a long time...

Maybe in the hotter countries solar panels could become prominent, however, in the UK ground heatsource is becoming a worthy way to go. A lot of new build homes have this. The whole estate has a underground heatsource placed deep down before the building starts.

I am not going to comment on the 10yr terrorism, I would hope it can be defeated with in the next 10yrs.

if i could have just one wish granted it would be for people in the United States to wake up and go take a few American History classes at their local college or community college and learn what the founding fathers had in mind when they wrote the Constitution and start protesting like they did in the 60's.

this country has become a joke. everyday i see the government becoming more and more self serving at the expense of the middle class and the poor.

i also see citizens losing more and more of their rights.

it wont be long before the government controls everything we do without any checks and balances and without and repercussions...

America will suffer a major depression due to unbelievable debt and a destroyed currency, and China will emerge as the world's financial and military superpower (if it isn't already). Either the euro or a global currency will replace the $us as the world's currency. We will rely less on cheap indian and chinese labour, and more on cheap American labour towards the end of the decade.

England will win the football world cup at least once

Totally agree the US will be either bankrupt or in a major depression, possibly even have a civil war/revolution as Americans get fed up with their government. Regardless the country will be in major trouble financially and towards the end of the decade possible the next decade after that will be a major hub for outsourcing much like india and china are now due to the cheap labor.

China will be the worlds superpower, have a very strong economy and military. The $us will be dumped as the world currency, and if current spending keeps up in the US could even start experiencing Zimbabwe like inflation.

My prediction is that there will be more individualism.

Society likes to label people as different things: terrorist, pornographer, cool guy, ugly guy, fat guy, accountant, fit guy, employee, employer, investor, businessperson, etc.

But, at the end of the day - everybody is a separate individual with his/her own will.

Basicly - you can do whatever you want. That means that no simple label of a few words can describe a person. And you can act like whatever you wanna be. You can even have multiple personalities and many different characters in this thing.
