If I remember it right, they had some kind of partnership, but the datacenter was OC3's.

to continue his criminal activities in the United States.

He started in 1994 with K.I.M Consulting for less than a year and then onto being a Senior Network Engineer at AAWN. Upon getting newly married and running out of money he decided to start a SPAM operation called OC3Networks (http://www.OC3Networks.com).

During his SPAM operations in Woodland Hills, CA, he hosted and rendered services to the most notorious spammers know to the world as he was listed in the ROKSO list at http://www.Spamhaus.org himself. Burning many providers and not paying his bills is how he made his money going from provider to provider.

As he grew his network by supporting Spammers, he then moved his small time office to a telecom building in DownTown Los Angeles, 530 W. 6th St. Suite 504, Los Angeles, CA 90014.

OC3Networks (http://www.OC3Networks.com), Ilan Mishan started bringing in more and

more spammers to his network. As this array of spammers came on board and his

bills piled up, he stopped paying his dues and started promoting himself BIG in different forums until he pissed the wrong people off and got his entire network shut down in 2006.

After being down for many days, he restructured OC3Networks with porn (Adult companies) hosting and brought on many dirty player friends of his like Chris Gotzmann, Michael Sanduval and George Becerra.


A couple of FTC lawsuits and more porn industry favorites now being hosted with Ilan Mishan, he started PacificRack (http://www.PacificRack.com) who specializes in selling the CHEAPEST possible dedicated servers in the industry and storing them in the hottest data center environment.

With the help of his associates, he has been flooding many forum like WebHostingTalk (http://www.WebHostingTalk.com) and GFY (http://www.GoFuckYourself.com) with false positive reviews that makes PacificRack and OC3Networks look like a legitimate company. Contrary to forum rules and regulations, he has had his employees/partners, (i.e. Chris Gotzmann, Michael Sanduval and George Becerra) speak very highly of customer service provided by them.

JamesK, all clients received emails regarding the change to QuadraNet and this happened a week ago already.
If your sites were down on your machine, it has nothing to do with that and as you said support fixed it quickly for you. The user on the account was the one that received the email.


What someone pasted above is a LOCAL competitor of ours who is posting complete falsities about a month ago, and we are already handling this via the legal system.
Anyone can write something make believe up and submit it to those complaint boards.
We could do the same to any competitor but prefer to operate professionally and let our services speak for themselves.
Our reputation speaks for itself, and so do our clients (just as you admitted support was fast in handling your issue).

Uh, 4fibertech.com and fibertech.com are two totally different companies I believe.

Fibertech operates dark fiber in ATL, and 4fibertech operates in LA..

As I posted, this is just a make believe story by a local competitor (who we will not name publicly, as we do not condone this behavior).
What is important is we have solid proof gathered and have already proceeded with legal remedies.
Anyone can write up any sort of story they would like and post it on those complaint boards.

Any hosting company, content producer, paysite, or ANY business here is vulnerable to it happening. Those sites are nothing but breeding grounds for libel.

well i've had a couple of dedicated servers with pacific rack for about 18 months and i've only got good things to say about them. as long as this namechange/takeover doesn't have an effect on price like it did when fastservers took over layeredtech then i'm a very happy customer.

No shit. The guy has ripped off a ton of people. Any company that hires someone who has a long history of scamming under false names is not worth doing business with.

Looks like the same control panel with a new url, I have 3 boxes and was notified of the name changes a few weeks ago. All my machines are still up and running fine and according to my logs, we had 0 downtime during the migration.

As far as Chris Gotzmann goes, I picked up 3 machines at pacific about 6 months ago and he treated me and my company 100% professionally, the boxes we have via Chris have ran flawlessly, the network is extremely fast and pacific / oc3 support has been superb.

We currently have machines at 5 different hosts btw

i was an oc-3 customer for a long time. had over 50 servers with them and no complaints..

is anyone having/had problems with pacificrack/oc3net since the "move"?

I had some technical problems which resulted in a few hours of downtime, but they fixed it. And honestly, it could've been my fault. I thought I could manage the server myself but was too lazy to upgrade all the software, so it might've been just that. I'm on managed now and no problems ever since. Downtime is still minimal and better than all other hosts I've tried.

Also, like PR stated in this thread, my problems had nothing to do with the move. I think they're still using the same locations and staff so the only thing that has changed is the name.
