lol sorry dude but perhaps you should repeat that statement in the mirror. After seeing how you handled some of the constructive criticism people gave you about your new site you're far from one who should be preaching.

perception is one thing - reworking a lot of what was in that thread into the site actually.

I would never EVER treat anybody like that.

And on that other topic, filing for bankruptcy does not make somebody a failure.

CunningStunt 01-09-2010 12:33 AM

Sleazy makes all this shit up to attention whore, then sits back and laughs at the responses.

Different thread, same tactics, year after year.

It's getting boring.

Btw, most people are probably laughing at you behind your back, some to your face. I wouldn't go.

You're right correcting spelling mistakes is a hard task. ;)

I have anxiety issues too. That crippled with always having been pretty rubbish at small chat with strangers doesn't help. I am not totally sure where it comes from because once I know people I think I give pretty good chat :) Something in me just always assumes they will be more together, cooler, etc than me.

The best times I had at conventions were with Tofu by my side because he has NONE of those worries and would break the ice for me and then I was fine.

Some of us are just more shy than others and this work 'cuddles' us by allowing us to ration who we deal with face to face. However, it also makes it worse when we have to actually emerge from our dens.

Go pick up "How To Win Friends And Influence People" By Dale Carnegie and read it on the plane ride down.

Are you ragging on her for being honest about only reading the first two lines? Fuck man that is pretty weak if you are, especially generalizing the statement towards content models. The so-called 'webmasters' around here are far worse for doing it.

anxiety and panic attacks are as bad as an addiction, they really get in the way. My anxiety sky rocketed after quitting alcohol, and it took me years to master it! Now I AM FREE!!!!

There are countless books on dealing with anxiety, and I have read a few of them.

Ultimately, in the end, its up to you to destroy all fears before you and break down every wall around you.

with bloody fists on we plow.

Xanax actually does work but theres always the traditional gallon of hard liquor and carton of cigarettes, which are great networking tools if used properly :)

It does when you thought you were the big man on campus.

thank you for making it worse. :(

Look at it this way: people have been friendly to you - some may call it ass kissing - when you were well off. All those former friendly people who might laugh at you today have never really been your friends. Simply donīt care.

Those that support you now without looking for advantage, those you may consider real friends. You can be proud that there are some people left who support you today. Donīt be afraid of the others.:2 cents:

yeah I used to also have a lot of anxiety too, you guys are not alone anxiety and depression are the two most common mental disorders...and the easiest to treat. I try not to think to far ahead these days...that gives you anxiety. Think about now and keep busy, many people just have a lot of time on their hands to think about all their problems, and watching the news on TV will also screw you up...and makes you worry about something...that really has no bearing on you. Anxiety = a fear of a fear

It's already been shown that you have actual friends in the industry, Sleazy. Just think about the good from seeing them.

yes, an alcohol and any substance make it all worse! Alcohol makes anxiety so much more intense. I suffered that for a decade. I drank to calm anxiety and it only got worse...

anyhow, the only way out is to run theough the flames.

Forward!

i am ocd (that won't ever go away), and used to have a huge amount of anxiety, culminating in several panic attacks in 2002/03. i started getting my ass in to shape, and that made all the difference. i haven't had a panic attack in 6 years.
