Maybe I shouldn't be so obsessed with these people, but the Terri Schiavo incident woke me up to the power they had harnessed. They were able to get congress involved in what should have been a private matter. That particular site was extremely pro-Schiavo. It use to be a ground roots site for Alan Keyes and his movement to renew America by bringing it back into the dark ages. The right is very organized and the average conservative is much more likely to vote than the average liberal. That scares me.

then we liberals will go to vote rather then sleeping until the evening after a hardcore party night for the election day to save our other days.

for the side note: i know Yours and Mine understanding from the word "liberal" is different, but at least we got a point that we might agree on it

There is nothing abnormal about homosexuality. It is a natural thing that happens amongst our species and countless others. What I would consider bizarre behavior is believing in fairy tales written 2,000 years ago about a guy who walked on water and was born to a virgin.

What a completely stupid and idiotic analogy. You're right... we should lump homosexuality with murder, rape and theft. Let's just surreptitiously throw a non-violent act that hurts no one in the mix with acts that DO cause violence and harm on others. I thought you were a whack job before but this seals it.

And evolution? What do you know about evolution? Did you know that some scientist believe that homosexuality is merely one facet of evolutions "natural" control of population? This is why you see homosexuality in the animal kingdom. Animals have no guided reasoning for the act, they merely do it by genetic design as do most humans who are homosexual.

The funny thing about all this? It falls back to religion... even if you claim to be an atheist. Why? Well gee, who has always banged it into peoples head that homosexuality is unnatural? The religious. And what happens, the religious may become diluted but the morals they instilled into society remain. They become self sustaining and migrate beyond the bounds of religion into the belief systems of the non religious. This is the perfect nature of religions poison on society over time. You might even say it is the perfect weapon.

You are missing the point. Everyone is not going to turn gay. Some people prefer that kind of thing. We should just leave them alone to do whatever it is they want to do and mind our own business. I can't understand how people can hate other people just because they do something they don't do or approve of. How does it affect them? You don't own the fucking world!

I am anti-Organized Religion. I have no problems with a personal belief or faith in something, even though I might find it stupid. I wouldn't have any problem at all of people didn't stand in the way of progress and try to shove their morality down everyone's throats.

Murder, rape, and theft are not genetic characteristics of an individual. A better comparision would be redheads, Asians, or tall people. All handled by our genetics that we have no control over.

Murder, rape, and theft are actions taken against a person. It is taking something away from someone. Homosexuality is simply what someone is attracted to sexually. It has no effect on you in any way and takes nothing away from your life. It is no different than someone who is attracted to obese women or has a fetish for small feet. Just genetics and the sexual attractions they cause us to have.

Evolution isn't right or wrong. It just creates genetic survivors that are built for particular environments. With the prevelance of homosexuality in humans and other species, there is some benefit it provides that has caused it to survive throughout the history of life.
