Looking for designer for mainstream site

    1. The site will sell various health products
    2. I want a designer who is motivated to come up with creatives that will increase sales. I can write most or all of the copy and you come up with a design that encourages them to buy.
    3. No design companies who are just fronts for Indian or flip outsourcing.
    4. If I hire you and you have additional services that I may benefit from I am happy to hear your proposals.

Please post in this thread and I will hit you up on ICQ or Skype. Thank you for your consideration

yes if you dopnt work one on one with your designer and it is just someone being the middleman, you are not only being charged triple the price, but increase the chances of fail when not dealing direct.

no idea why people would want to use outsourcers who charge you three times what tyhe job would actually cost, so they get money for doing nothing and the designer gets a cut.

              lemenus,

If you're still looking feel free to hit me up. I just finished a couple mainstream sites last month that sound a lot like what you're looking for and also have a mainstream company where I can show you more sites I have done personally. I'm around 5am est-10pm est to talk via phone ICQ or e-mail.

I'll tell you why. The designers that are getting the cut are happy to do this for the cut they get. The middleman who "did nothing" actually found someone who can deliver on time. And if all parties are happy then what's the problem?

If you're unhappy with being charged a "triple" price, have fun going through elance.com to weed out someone who will actually deliver.

You have valid points. However I want to actually talk directly with the person who is doing the work. I want to pay that person directly. Now if they have a small part of the job they want to outsource then I have no problem with that. I just don't want the majority of the job to be done by people I am not talking to. Trying to avoid dramas

I will tell you my view ... outsourcing is NOT a problem. Outsourcing can be very cool. Good workers need good jobs, and sometimes you'll find an outsource company works out well.

Not in every case. Some clients want to talk directly to the designer who's doing the work. It makes things quicker.

There are advantages and disadvantages financially as well... either way... it's not cut and dried as to what is better. I don't outsource to people I don't know ... I only work with one guy in house here. And I supervise the work he does.

9/10 outsourced workers are complete retards though...
