BlogTexter - scammer

ICQ:BlogTexter AKA Click Over Media AKA [email protected] AKA epass: rdkemp

This person scammed me, because he/she sent money to my paypal and then 5 days later the payment was reversed with reason "no shipping address provided." This had nothing do with a shipping address, he/she paid me for a service I already provided. Person is not answering my ICQ messages to the ICQ:BlogTexter.

Send request's to clients... especially if you are unaware of the person you are dealing with. I started doing this after losing a few grand a couple years ago.

There are still risks involved with requests, but I feel much better with them.

It's not the first time people reverse paypal payments. I just hate when that happens. They send a payment and everything's fine. I see in my paypal: "Payment - completed."

And the, BAM!!! After 5 days, the payment is reversed.

Hmm... does paypal allow you to generate an invoice and give the payer a custom URL, so YOU choose the category of payment? This may help prevent this particular scam working.

I myself need to get in the habit of that. For one thing a lot of people will send in payment for something and not put what it's for, pick the wrong type etc. and pain in the ass going back during taxes to figure out what it's for...you can control that shit w/ an invoice.

If someone wants to they can go one by one and search those ICQ #s and email addresses to see what else they come up with but it seems his name is Roger Kidd. Best idea is to find out where this guy is from by finding out where the western union was picked up, then looking for Kidd's in that area and asking them about Roger. You can use the info on the geneology page to get across to people easier and have them help you find him.

If anyone wants to I'll set up an email where everyone can send info about this guy to and I'll put everything together and hit up the prosecutor in his city/county/state with what we have and I'm sure we'll get somewhere.
