To shave it or not to shave it?

Well here's something I've been faced with for a few years now. My hair (on my head) is pretty thin. I've had it shaved for most of this year but just grew it back. In order to keep it looking decent I have to use some special cover up products to keep it from looking thin.

The shaved head has been great. No paying for haircuts, styling products, hair cover up stuff etc. Not to mention the saved time.

Now that I've spent months growing it back and just dropped another couple hundred on hair products including my cover up fibres, I'm debating shaving it again.

Trying to decide if having a sexy mane of hair is worth all the hassles that come with it?

I'd shave it, but if you have a weird shaped lumpy head maybe not. My little brother has been losing his hair and I used to rag on him, not because he's losing his hair but because he looked like a clown trying to cover it up. He shaved his head and it's way better now IMO.

I started going thin so started cutting it shorter and shorter until I decided to shave it all of completely.

I was blessed with a reasonably good shaped head (even if I do say so myself) so it doesn't look bad.

Shaving it is the decent way to go. Just don't cry for it afterwards.

Luckily my head is perfectly shaped for a shaved head. My dad rags on me to hell about the whole covering it up thing (not fair that my 61 year old dad has a full head of hair ).

The shaved head looks pretty decent on me as well. The hair these days is just not presentable at all without spending a fortune on microfibres and the like.

Would love to have some of the ladies of GFY's opinion

Sucks being 23 and having to worry about this so much

My primary concern is that, say I meet the woman of my dreams (with hair), then it gets to the point that I can't cover it up anymore, and I *have* to shave it and she doesn't like that look, well that would totally suck.

The way I see it, women wear makeup to make themselves look better so I think it's fair game that I can do the same... I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth trying to keep up this charade period.

I've had it shaved from January to mid Sept, I just grew it back but thinking if it's worth the hassles (time and money) spent trying to keep up "the look" when I can just continue shaving it and be done with it...

This sexy mane sure comes at a hefty price
