It's really reasonable actually... I would suggest if you're going to come to get a package though, it's way cheaper.

They keep trying to comp me at Aria but the rooms suck, IMHO. Very cold and uncomfortable feeling with their new contemporary bullshit. I feel like they furnished the place out of Ikea.

I am thinking of booking a room there for the 9th-14th just to check out it out and gamble there. I like exploring new places :thumbsup

I think you can stay at circus circus for like $13 a night, lulz.

We are also staying in the city center area. I wonder if its nice there yet or if its a construction zone??

As for the Palms I wouldnt stay there even if it were free.

I went to City Center last week to check it out and had lunch at the buffet there. It's pretty much finished. But a lot of the stores haven't opened yet. I wasn't impressed to tell you the truth.

The most fun in Vegas is still the "old strip" Fremont Street Experience. Nothing else like it. The old school original casinos, the closed in and covered street, the bands playing on the stages outside, cheap rooms, cheap drinks.

I can hardly stomach the "new strip" and it's corporate feel.

True, but I never understood why anyone would want to vacation in Vegas unless they did gamble.

why the fuck are you doing this george

The prices went up and down last month.

I am in SF now and this hotel has doubled their prices since i booked in november.
Same with some hotels in Vegas like Caesars and Venetian. Seems like the bottom was hit and prices going up.

And also flight tickets Amsterdam - SF - Las Vegas, which i got also at the lowest rates possible :) Paid 450 euro, a couple days later the price was 750 and up.

Still have to book Vegas, didn't want to book while i knew the price doubled.
The new city center is also full now www.CityCenter.com

But Holidays are over soon, maybe their will be another price drop.
It is a game, i want the lowest prices possible.
This year was great for cheap tickets. Amsterdam - Kuala Lumpur for 450 euro, never seen that prices before.

But The USA is expensive. I am used to asian prices on Holidays, 20 dollars for a top hotel and 4 dollar for a good meal with a beer and a dessert.

starpimps 12-31-2009 12:37 AM

booked 5 nights at aria

KILL_FRENZY 12-31-2009 01:03 AM

Sounds like a great place to go to :thumbsup

tiger 12-31-2009 02:20 AM

The smoke is so bad at the Palms they should pay people to stay there.

Raf1 12-31-2009 05:11 AM

that's pretty awesome. I would probably go there for a vacation now if it wasn't for all the crazy travel regulations to the US.

I got The Rio for $40.00 a night January 10-14 booking through their website. It's walking distance to The Palms.
