I honestly don't mind it, I'd rather they create restrictions than let another piece of shit terrorist be successful in hijacking or blowing up a plane. Yeah it's an inconvenience, but don't blame TSA, blame the fucking Muslim asswipe terrorist and their gay religion.

The restrictions are pretty much useless. Restrictions didn't stop this Nigerian guy, passengers did. Restrictions didn't stop the shoe bomber, passengers did. You may not have noticed it, but terrorists just come up with new tactics every time some new policy is implemented. Even if everyone is forced to travel naked, terrorists will just have bombs implanted subcutaneously. If everyone is forced to get a 24 hour medical exam before using a plane, terrorists will just go after bombs or trains. Giving your 90 year old grandmother an anal probe every time she wants to board a plane does absolutely nothing to prevent terrorism. Its only use is to give the government and airlines the chance to say "we did everything we could" when shit does go wrong. Two things that do help is getting good intel on radicals and having passengers be on the lookout. After 9/11, the latter isn't a problem, but the former... well, the Nigerian guy's own parents already warned the US embassy about him. But by all means, keep supporting asinine measures that have no effect whatsoever other than to send out the message that "something is being done". |

IMO these Muslim clowns are for the most part retarded. Without the restrictions that were already put in place who knows how many more would have attempted attacks on planes. |

wow thats fucked up

These fuckers were always paranoid. Why the hell I can't imagine, even if the plane goes down for whatever fucking reason there's very low chance they can loose a lawsuit since every airplane is registered as its own fucking small firm.

this is funny. i saw the attempted bombing/method and thought... "hmm... maybe NOW people will finally get that you can make explosives and deadly gases from many many different combination's of common chemicals, that alone are totally benign and maybe now they'll finally "get it" as to why they are limited to quantities of liquids, toiletries and so on that they can bring on a plane"
guess not |
Fitty ridiculous rules:mad::321GFY

airplane industry is destroying this world, they want cars to "go green" meanwhile planes pollute the air more than cars LOL boycott the entire thing, I drive where I want to go even if across country, and I have no desire to see Egypt LOL |

what is seriously wrong is that tickets became so fucking cheap - and that kerosine for example over here is not taxed as opposed to electricity for trains. it cannot be that i can fly from one end of germany to the other and back for 100 bucks while a train ticket costs me 300. |
Those are not rumors, I just went through them yesterday and today.
Yesterday, I flew AA from Montreal to New York. After getting through Canadian Security and US Customs, everyone had to go through the body searches done in the corridor of what would normally be the gates and shops/restaurants. Then, on the plane, since it's only 1hr20mins to New York, they informed us we could not use the bathroom all flight, not get up, not access carry on luggage at all due to the failed terrorist attack (the pilot actually announced and talked about it over the PA). This morning, flew LACSA from New York to Costa Rica and it was the same thing, while no body search as we were already in the US I guess, once on the plane they announced that during the final hour of the flight, no one could get up or access their bags or use the bathrooms anymore. Nothing mentioned about electronics any different than usual though. |

the problem is not more rules, its the time it takes to get through security to your plane. its OUR fault when this shit happens. technology is there to scan people and look for bombs, but the problem is it takes time.
I remember they used to have this device in LAX that you would have to step through and it would blow air around, then let you out. it would look for trace elements of materials used to make bombs. problem is everyone bitched about the time it would take to go through security. No one wants to wait 2 or 3+ hours to go through security for a 4 hour flight, just not going to happen. Our world is about getting things done quickly and until technology can catch up, we will have the same problems. Same goes with background checks that the gov't was trying to imply into flying. everyone would be "pre-screened" to check for previous or any shady history. problem is, a lot of the people who are doing this are not arrested drug dealers or people with a DUI |
The TSA only comes up with new restrictions to create fear to justify their own existance.
I'm hoping after a couple of weeks they lighten up a bit, just like they did after the liquid fiasco. It'll be great when babies start shitting themselves and the parents won't be able to change them, or someone piss or shits in their seat because they aren't allowed to get up... |
fucking muslims.
nothing good comes from that area of the world. |

i'll be waiting for the first case of someone getting arrested cause he took a dump in front of the cockpit door |
Kinda looks like the terrorists are winning. And they're doing it on the cheap compared to what we're spending on defense.
|
Oh, may I suggest wearing depends when you fly. Look at it as practice for old age and the nursing home.

I'm honestly left thinking the people who make these policies are insane......
i have to be at the airport 3 hours before my flight to vegas now. a few years ago it was 30 mins, then an hour - now 3 hours.... soon it's going to be faster walking |

They only have enough for hairspray, all other expenses husband must pay for including flight |
The terrorists need to plant poison that is absorbed through skin on the floor of the security line. Then we'll be required to keep our shoes on.

So sorry we couldn't work out a shoot b4 Thanksgiving Joe! Hopefully sometime in the future :) |
I heard that because of all the security stuff, the lines BEFORE the checkpoints get so huge, that this line itself would become an interesting target! How crazy is that?!?!
