    Dvd recorder / storage

    Can anyone tell me a device that I can take a dvd that i have, (any movie) somehow store it on a device that is plugged into my tv and have a nice display of dvds that are stored on the device and watch the dvd that is stored on the device.

    I hate having mass amounts of dvds laying around, I want to place all on a device and throw them all away.

          just rip them to avi and store them on a multimedia drive, it easy

              Or find a media player that can read VOBs directly, that way you don't lose menus or special features.

                  There are loads of ways to do this. I use Boxee stuck on an old laptop attached to network storage.
