Thank you.

I'll tell you something else, we will lose Iraq and Afghanistan, just how we lost Vietnam. We'll also lose Iran when we go to war with them. There is one simple reason why, and that is, you can not defeat someone who is highly motived to defend their own land. Yes, you may temporary beat them, but not long term. For some reason, we are unable to learn this lesson. Or maybe we have and we go for other reasons, like to rebuild them. Lots of money there.

And other reasons like oil and other natural resources. Forgot to add that, as its a big one. Some have even said we went to Vietnam over titanium. I didn't personally see that, but I've been told US companies have since stripped damn near every piece of titanium out of that country.

Most of the time is not truth - but trying to make the best prediction about things.

For example, "Economy is growing" or "Unemployment is rising" or "We can win the war"

LOL Agreed!:1orglaugh:thumbsup

Politicians that aren't full of shit 90% of the time are as rare as unicorns.

Comeon guys, seriously did you think you were getting something different? "Change" is just a slogan the sheeple could use to rally behind .. there was little change.

The media world wide just gushed for the guy, it was so clear that he was going to be elected no matter what. The media decides who is elected, not you. In most cases your vote is merely the product of careful grooming by the media, and its the same in many countries not just the US.

You are correct. However, we are so desperate for change, we fell for it. We wanted to believe in him, believe in change, believe that someone was actually going to work for us again, and listen to what we have to say.

That will teach us.

I will never vote again. :2 cents:

I hear ya. Though McCain wasn't an option either, so its a no win.

I hope people like you do vote again, because you will probably make a much more targeted decision next time based on a more realistic outlook. I think America and i dare say the world was under a spell. Going through that experience and seeing it for what it is can only make you into a better voter next time :) I hear serious talk about a 3rd party, is that just whispers or could it seriously happen?

The reason I don't think I will vote again, is that these guys say anything to get into office. Anything! Then once in, it's business as usual. I know it's always been this way, but it seems the last few times, especially this time, have been worse than others.

Presidents since the Eisenhower days have used teleprompters.. . They aren't a new thing..

Can't understand why people make such a big deal out of him using them..
