Sextoy.com upgrades its look just in time for nominations from Cybersocket and Xbiz for "Retail Site of the Year". ?Many people think my company CNV.com Inc. makes most of its money from SEXTOY.com, but actually it has always been our affiliate program (myfreewebsite.com) and wholesale dropship site (sextoyclub.com) that earns the majority of sales.? explains owner Dave Levine. ?But a few years ago, I decided to start on a plan to increase sales on SEXTOY.com and so far it has grown 1000%!? Ten times growth sounds impressive, but that comes from a low level when the SEXTOY.com site was one page and absent from search engines. The site now has original content, blogs, videos, and marketing efforts. SEXTOY.com is happy to report its biggest Holiday season ever by a large margin.

The parent company CNV.com Inc. has also invested in all aspects of improving conversions on the site from adding thousands of new products as well as many new ways for customers to find those products. The breath of products has spread from only sex toys a few years ago to now include over 40,000 DVD?s and a wide selection of bondage items, lingerie, clothing including recently added Hustler apparel. ?We at Hustler Apparel are ecstatic that our lines of mens and womens apparel are now available through SEXTOY.com. SEXTOY.com lost some great free marketing - VH1's Megan Wants a Millionaire was canceled due to one of the contestants, Ryan Jenkins, committing a murder and then killing himself. Owner Dave Levine (AKA Sex Toy Dave) explains, "I had dinner with Ryan and his wife weeks before this tragedy. They were actually making out during dinner! I planned a pool party followed by watching episode 4 where I was sure that I would have lots of air time. I invited Ryan and his wife to that party. He apparently committed the murder on Friday and emailed me regarding my party on Saturday saying 'can't make it bro'. and then the show was promptly canceled" Fortunately for Dave, his career did not hinge on yet another reality show appearance and he as put that negative experience behind him.

Sex Toy Dave will be having his next promotion at Hollywood nightclub Hyde on Sunset Blvd on Jan 14 where he will be giving away vibrators to the first 100 girls. I really wish you'd have someone work on your rss feeds..

Way too much duplicate content ..
Instead of showing one instance of a given garment, with available sizes and colors within the single instance... There is a duplicate rss item for each size and/or color..

Sometimes an item is shown 7 or 8 times with identical titles and descriptions, with the exception of the size or color..

Rss feed for dresses is a good example..

Makes it rather difficult to use them..

It happens, been there done that. We had some really awesome domains back in 96' and our IT accidently lost them by not renewing them. Oh well, expensive mistakes but what can you do.

sextoy.com is definitely getting better and all their partnerships with Eldorado and several other major distributors they have a chance at making it huge. I agrre with the duplicate feeds on items but it is very tough because sometimes its a thing you have to manually but that is a chore with 100k+ items. I have manually input over 10,000 items on http://www.dallasnovelty.com so I can know a little about every item I sell and help the customer better.
