In 1956 I had a '55 chevy convertible. Added fuel injection, high speed cams, dual straight exhaust so there was little back pressure. Car topped out at 156 mph. Outran a State Police special built Pontiac pursuit car 2 different times. Either he couldn't keep up or got chicken at the rocket speed.

Olds rocket 88 - a little car to piss around town in
Olds rocket 98 - pisses faster than the 88
Olds rocket constip8 - nobody could pass it :1orglaugh
