If you do all the work yourself yes you will work that much and in the end is the best you can do.
Those hiring other webmasters because they are lazy to do the hard job, always end bad. Those webmasters they hire finish learning everything, and then do their own biz and increase serious competition. It's obvious that is going to happen in the end, but some people are so "naive" that they can't see that coming.Comment

It just is not healthy to work that much in front of a computer. We are all old now days and when you combine that with the drinking, smoking and partying you are not looking at a very long life..

I never work that many hours, and for the most part not weekends either.
There is no need to work that much for anyone if you structure your days properly!

When I get on a roll with something I can gladly sit in front of the monitor for 18 hour days for days on end. I get that way when I startup new projects that excite me, or I feel have a lot of potential.

Who counts how many hours they work..lol I gave up looking at the clock years ago.I do what needs to be done in the time it takes. If it turns into an 18 hr day well so be it. If it turns into an eight hour or less day then great. An important thing to remember is we're in an industry that never sleeps. It's always 5 o'clock somewhere, and there's always someone to please. So the more you please the more you make. I enjoy what I do and enjoy the lifestyle I live, at the end of the day that's what should matter. Regardless of how many hours it takes.
