Best LCD monitor for text & coding etc.....
Wanna get a new one....
The ones I've seen in stores never seem to have good demos showing text etc. I don't really like what I've seen in any of the demo setups when I went looking for plain old text... What monitors are you coders using for for nice crisp text? These old eyes need something good! Thanks

Try to find a model with a larger dot pitch. LCD monitor resolutions seem to be increasing at a rate greater than the physical dimensions are, so pixels are getting smaller and smaller...

Thanks for the tip.
Just poking through BestBuy a moment ago I saw lots of em don't show dot pitch. HP does it seems. I still use my old dell 19" tube monitor for my coding cause i like the text on it better than on my LCD. ![]()
