Here in Denver we've gotten about three feet so far this year.
But here in Denver it's not like the mid-west. A normal winter storm for us is two feet of snow over night, then the next day it's 60-70 degrees and all the snow is melted in a day or two. We get as much sun as San Diego, and we're a mile high closer to the sun so it's usually really fuckin sunny and warm.
We're still in the middle of the storm hitting you right now as well. It's been damn cold and it sucks. I'm used to wearing a tshirt almost all year round but it's fuckin cold out right now. Not supposed to warm up till Saturday.

Uh, yeah because the Unibomber had a small city with 57,250 people in his back yard.
Sure not big in some city standards, but in Iowa, it's the 9th biggest city in the state. Not only that but we can't be very small if IBM is setting up one of their most important offices in our city...
In 4 weeks, I'll have a badass snow fort in my yard, and be spending countless hours at the ski resort not even 5 miles from me snowboarding, in 8 weeks, I'll have more snow fun going down, and by March, when the snow starts dissipating, then I'll be happy.
I grew up in the frozen tundras of Wisconsin, I'm not new to snow, or hate it. I enjoy it and have developed many ways to enjoy snow instead of be bitter about it, like many people have been.Comment
