You know whats funny? AOL spams the living shit out of their own customers, that's the smart part! Sue the competition, then use their exact same techniques to earn more bling per member.
AOL SUCKS, they spam me with there fuckin CD once a month & they use a dishonest marketing scheme to make money... I hope these fuckers fall soon.... They are cutting allot of jobs at this moment.... AOL STOP SENDING ME YOUR FUCKIN CD'S - MY NEIGHBORS ARE GETTING PISSED OFF WITH ME BECAUSE I USE IT FOR A FRISBEE
hmm 25.000 bucks each day spam is send. Guess I could be richer than Bill Gates by now. I think over the years I reaceived about 100000 spam emails.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
thats a load of bullshit... how do they even arrive at that number 25 g's a day... what everyone else said is true, aol spams as much as anyone else everytime people signon they are spammed and i heard they started doing it every time you sign off too... comical
The reason these assholes lost against AOL is because they were TARGETTING AOL members for their mail. They must have had lists of nothing but AOL and were mailing the shit out of it. That's no fucking good.
"The spam ring had allegedly targeted AOL members with unwanted e-mail advertising adult Web sites. "
Not to memntion there was already a court injunction against them from 3 years prior.
Moral of the story: If you mail.. don't ONLY mail AOL.
Here's the problem..... (from the legal papers someone posted)
"AOL also alleges that defendants forged the tern "aol.com" within their e-mail massages, thus creating the false impression that the e-mail messages originated from, or at least were endorsed by, an AOL member if not AOL itself. "
There's a difference between "spammers" and legit email marketers.
