A while back I read an article about how many pro athletes are broke within 5 years of retiring from their sport. The main reason is they get married young because they want someone they "trust" near them then they become stars and start fucking around. The wife stays with him while she reaps the rewards of big income and fame, but once he is out of the limelight and cash isn't coming in, she doesn't put up with his behavior anymore and he ends up losing half in a divorce.
