Is MORE blogs better, or less blogs with more content and regular updates?? Our blog numbers are growing so finding time to keep them all going can be fun! I know some people that throw out a new blog every day thinking the more the better, but seems like it would get impossible to manage eventually. What are these guys doing, just making a blog with like just 3 posts, then submitting to blog toplists, then repeating process with a new blog the next day??

Just use that WP plugin that automatically moves the last post into the front position at whatever time intervals you specify. Make 100 posts and auto-update every two days and you'll never have to go back to manually update again.

I doubt that those kinds of blogs get many listings. A lot of the directories probably check to make sure the blogs are being updated.

don't listen to anyone in this thread. get an alexa list and look at the top adult blogs that are sub 20,000. that will send you on the right path.

I have around 10 of my own, I was (up till last week) running around 30 or so for someone however money is tight and after 3 yrs was time to let me go. I think to many people make the mistake of starting to many to begin with, start small get them sorted first and then add to the network...

what benefit is there with that? the only one that would notice a difference might be a repeat visitor with a really good memory (and I really doubt that it would make any difference in sales to that surfer), but you wouldn't be gaining anything at all with google by doing that

Many programs offer RSS feeds for your blogs...fresh content placed on your page. Hand written blogs are supposed to rank better in google though.

If your looking for a blog guy on GFY, I recomment Brett, his name on here is Bcyber I believe.

I'm more for something between real blogs and splogs

Having 100 wordpress blogs with posts rewritten from feeds sounds nice to me. You don't need to update every day. After the blog reach 20 posts once or twice per month is enough. I'm against copying the whole text from the feeds (if the feeds use 1000 other wm's)

Those splogs with 3-10 posts on free blog hosts can be very nice way to get a backlink to your real blog.

Right now we have 5 blogs that we host, and also still have my 5 free hosted blogs that I toyed around with learning on. That "oldest-2-newest-redux" plugin sounds like something Ill keep in mind for when our blog network gets to big to handle,,,,at least if you cant update all the time you are freshing for visitors

I have 30+ blogs that gte updated once a month. I think thta working on getting quality backlinks is far more important that updating everyday or having a million blogs. I never really noticed any difference in trafic between daily updates and monthly updates.

I doubt 1000 3 post blogs make more money than 5 well constructed blogs with quality backlinks.
