mainstream tangible health products which will be sold online as well as over the phone

I set one up a few years ago for another company I owned and saved lots of money by not going with one of the popular services so am only interested in doing biz with someone who can give me a great deal.

will not be high volume for the first few months

EC Suite, which is a third party processor for mainstream (like CCBill), is now processing for tangibles, in addition to their membership/digital product processing.
Includes all the features of a e-commerce platform - without the need for a merchant account.
Or we have traditional merchant accounts (with virtual terminals for phone sales) as options as well.

have you looked at dare I say paypal. costco is probably going to be one of the cheapest. and there is google checkout for web transactions.
