Curious - how does everyone know if balances are correct if they go to 0 ever so often?

Just something I wonder about. No accusations or anything. I just would freak if my bank said my balance was 0.00 for any period of time.

Even though front page showed 0.00 you could still see your transaction history and what your balance should be from the online statement.
