                  My guess is, regardless of who is president, there is a very good chance some sort of terrorist attack will take place within the next few years. If Obama pulls out he will be blamed for the weakness. If we stay he will be blamed for not bringing enough change.

                  It is pretty much a no-win situation.

                  Once we leave, in 1 year or 10 years, Afghanistan will never be a western style democracy anyway, and it will be run by lunatics no matter what.

                  The only person who is COUNTING on an attack is Dick Douche bag Cheney. He is just waiting to say "I told you so" even though he has no right to say anything, as he was a big part of the problem to begin with.

                  Anyway, we will all live until we die. Such is life. In a few billion years our sun will go supernova, and all remains of the human animal, and the planet we are on, will be gone.

                                                          As for the war, here's the problem - the people we're fighting in the middle east don't stop. We've counted on the other side stopping eventually in past wars. These people aren't going to. So we have to basically commit genocide of some sort or we'll be fighting a war forever like Israel v. the Palestinians. Only the fuckers like Cheney who profit from it ever win from wars like this, which is probably why both wars started and kept progressing to begin with.

It will then go through a red giant phase where the core suddenly, and suddenly for a star is a bit different than it is for us, will collapse. Once the core stabilizes the outer layers will drift off into space thus exposing the core.
