    Windows7 and messenger icons

    My newest laptop is running windows 7 home premium 64bit and for some reason I can't get icons in the taskbar from Skype or Miranda to "blink / flash" when I have incoming messages, it is only showing the name with a slightly different font than normal if I got messages waiting, anyone got any ideas how to solve this ? It's getting really frustrating

      Could try running the applications in a vista compatibility mode. Right click on the program, select properties, then compatibility.

              Did not seem to help, also "Run as administrator" didnt help neither.
