I am aware of it and what it did. What does it have to do with Obama? You could substitute Clinton or Bush in there and be closer. Reagan was the first President with a trade deficit and pretty much signaled the end of America's supremacy.

I do not blame Obama, but I DO agree that the higher-ups in Washington favor big corporate interests over the needs and interests of the people.
I also agree that the divide between rich and poor has grown in an alarming way, and the middle class is shrinking rapidly.
Again, I do not blame Obama at all. He may have had every good intention in the world when he came into office, but one man against the system is an unbalanced battle he is destined to either lose, or barely make up much ground.
I wish him the best however, as I am not in the top 1% or even 10% tax bracket in the US, so as a common citizen, I want things like affordable health care, and cleaner drinking water, and less pollution, and better education, and safer foods, and an end to poverty, and less wars, etc.

When the Federal Reserve was first established our country only owed 1 million. They got us into WWI and within a few years that escalated to 25 million. In 1921 the turned the US treasury to a private corporation just like they did with the Fed. Around this same time they passed the Sheppard-Towner Maternity Act which was sold to be a way to disburse funds to the people but in reality what it was, was bonding everyone. The 20's were prosperous as the government was borrowing against those bonds... But some people knew what was going on and it became a big controversy so they allowed the Act to expire in 1929 >> Crash of 1929. People weren't told they didn't have to register their children at birth and they continued to do so. Shortly thereafter they went back to the table for negotiations to come up with the > New Deal. In 1931 the largest census in history began valuing "assets." By 1933 the old US was declared officially bankrupt owing in excess of 100 million in gold and the new Corporate UNITED STATES came into existence. The Constitution was suspended and all US citizens were declared enemies of the STATE because of what was to follow... Such as taking all their gold to pay the debt. Creating a whole new systems of laws to keep the slaves in line..
