The Who ... This years Super Bowl band.

Just saw the ad for The Who playing during the next Super Bowl.

Wonder how five years on a U.K. register of sex offenders will affect one of them during customs check.

Roger Daltrey was just playing at a casino around here, i thought that was pathetic.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

As bad as "Diamond Dave" in Vegas?

          More like "Who's left" lololololol

Should be a good show as long as Rodger's voice holds up, he's been having trouble at the end of the last few tours. Pete still kicks ass as he always did. Too bad about Keith and John, they were just as essential to the band as the other two members.

Prince was my favorite performer of the last few years. ABC fucked up the sound for the Stones and made 'em sound tiny.

I wasn't happy with the Stones song selection.

They should have just played a 15 minute version of midnight rambler, '72 style.

Always the most irrelevant act they can find.

Didn't Bruce Springsteen play last year. Who gives a flying fuck about Bruce any more except acid wash jean wearing New Jerseyans?

The WHo is great in their day, but seriously, who listens to them?

It'll suck. Who hasn't made great music in a while. Most super bowl shows suck and only do it for the ratings and payday.

I LOVE The Who - next to The Beatles, they're my all-time fave - but even I recognize they're a bunch of whores these days. Entwhistle dies and they carry on, barely missing a tour date, their songs are TV SHOW THEMES for Christsake, on and on. Whores.

                    BUT -

They rock, and always will. They ROCK.

Your comments are preposterous and you sound like an idiot. The anonymity of the internet always brings out people with no information, bad information and silly "opinions" based on nothing. The facts are that Bruce Springsteen and The Who are huge top selling acts on the concert circuit today in 2009, more than ever, generating tens of millions of dollars. And their album/music/merchandise sales are also very significant. Now whether they are your taste in music or not is another story. I am not a huge fan of either band, but to say that no one cares about them is just ridiculous.

The BOSS irrelevant?? You do know how much he helped out Obama during his campaign, right? They might not be new and topping the charts, but considering the Super Bowl is watched by people aged 3 to people aged 100, classic artists have the widest appeal.

Maybe next year they'll get Soulja Boy.
