    Ubuntu on Vista machine help needed

    I have Vista and its only one partition HDD, do you know if i can install Ubuntu painlessly and have a multi sys bootload working, any tips?

        I think you have to create a new partition. I have ubuntu working on another partition of this system with win 7

          I do believe the Live CD/DVD will create the partition for you upon installation. It'll also install GRUB for you the dual-boot.
