A gallery I submitted to The Hun is currently raping my bandwidth on my certified hosting account, as much as certified hates it, and as high as my bandwidth usage is, the site is still up - I'm impressed

Only time will tell how much longer they put up with my bullshit though, lol :D

The GEEK plan. It's the middle of the road one. I picked it up when they had that awsome 50% off or whatever it was a while back. I think its like 50 bucks for the first year + a free domain name and unlimited domain hosting, then 150 a year or something after.

As with any shared hosting account, one would expect them to can it before it's gotten as far as it has with bandwidth today. They either havent noticed it (they definitely have, and im sure they're watching it like a hawk), or they don't want to cut off my site, because they like it when their customers are happy ;)

Initially, it was a plan for freesites and blogs only, which haven't stressed it in the least (not even enough to register more than 1 bar on the memory usage scale). I knew a hun listing would fuck that up royally, but I guess you could say im testing my limits :D

One thing I've learned when it comes to unlimited bandwidth and storage, is that if its on shared hosting, you might get away with unlimited storage, but never bandwidth. There was a 10$ protection plan option when I signed up that would prevent them canning the account temporarily when bandwidth got to high, I figured eff it, it's only a fairly small dent in my total income anyway if it does go down.

Edit: But yeah, I agree about them being a great hosting company, since I signed up I've never once had any downtime that I'm aware of, and the sites always load fasssst

lol, they probably still have the $10 option (not sure if its yearly or monthly) to prevent them from turning your account off when it gets to hot. Just make sure you ask them if you plan on getting regular hun listings if that 10 bucks is enough to make sure they dont can you before you explode on of their servers
