Love to , unfortunately my security clearence has lapsed .......you are the one simplifying into a few people a huge agency with thousands of employees dedicated to a project.
i will retract my simplified example if you can point to any verifiable information that it would only take a few people to pull off the "fake production"
i won't expect you to show proof from ALL the other countries, including our enemies at the time, that tracked every single lunar landing on radar.
While I am not saying that the landing was fake, as I was watching it in awe, with everyone else at the time. I am keeping an open mind to possibilities, that a hoax of that magnitude could be pulled off, specially back then.

this is a tell-tale sign of people who are sheep..
i can think for myself, i dont need the USA govt to tell me what we did..
The fact is WE did not land on the moon.. Come on think about it with your brain.. IF we were able to do it dozens of years ago with crappy technology and computers as complex as tv's today, then why havent we gone since??
Sheesh, if we were able to land on the moon, then surely man should be going to the moon every year after that... its like telling me we were able to make flying cars 30yrs ago but all of a sudden we cant...
EVERY single piece of technology/advancement has gone WAY up. if they were able to build a machine to reach the moon safely tens of years ago, today we should be able to get there EASIER, CHEAPER & SAFER..
But we all know its impossible.... man did not land on the moon.. take it or leave it... and ya the gov can shut people up... its simple logic, why havent we done it since then? surely NASA can afford to go to the moon again, its been what? 40 years? and we STILL cant go to the moon?
Its like saying someone built a car that could go from New York to Florida 30 years ago, but today NO car can do it anymore, that would make no sense..._________________

im not looking down at anyone.. this moon landing argument gets nowhere.. people believe what they want. and im not uneducated ..
all im saying is explain why we sent man 200,000 miles away 30years ago but havent sent anyone even 1000 miles past earth surface since then?
surely something doesnt seem right?
dont tell me no advanced country can come up with the money.. heck if there was a way, the USA would pay for it.. we spend billions on space research yearly.. so funding isnt an issue, well not for 30 years in a row nowLast edited by xxweekxx; 11-17-2009, 10:35 AM._________________

i guess you skipped over my factoid comment on page 1, where i stated the budget for NASA to get us to the moon was 5% of our nation's ENTIRE budget for several years. do you know what NASA's budget is today? a % of 1%.im not looking down at anyone.. this moon landing argument gets nowhere.. people believe what they want. and im not uneducated ..

fact is, it is ridiculously expensive to go to the moon AND the goals of NASA changed after that to the shuttle program, launching satellites, mars, hubble telescope, etc.
it's really not a valid argument to say that all 6 lunar landings were a hoax simply because we haven't gone back a 7th time or multiple more times after that.Comment

LOL i just googled and no it wsnt 5% of our nations budget for serveral years.. Also you have to wake up and admit that your great country did not have the technology to send a man to the moon in the 1970s.. simple and short..
No point arguing here, we have different opinions. so w/e. we landed 100 monkeys on the moon, heck i have a house on the moon right now.. who cares... sheep will be sheep
BY THE WAY it COSTS so much because we were RESEARCHING it..
NOW THE TECHNOLOGY IS THERE, we just need a vessel to get us there, so the whole budget issue is BS..
All that money was supposedly spent on research, so now the technology is seemingly there, it shuld cost us a fraction to get man to the moon..
Afterall according to NASA we sent man up there on a spaceship not some special alienship or something, so building another one should be even cheaper,Last edited by xxweekxx; 11-17-2009, 10:50 AM._________________

can't really have a discussion with you if you aren't prepared for facts.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NASA_Bu...project_ApolloNASA's budget peaked in 1966, during the height of construction efforts leading up to the first moon landing under Project Apollo. At its peak, the Apollo program involved more than 34,000 NASA employees and 375,000 employees of industrial and university contractors. Roughly two to four cents out of every U.S. tax dollar (or 4% of the total federal budget?adjusted for inflation in today's dollars) was being devoted to the space program.Comment
