Anyone watching the meteor shower tonight?

Think it is just starting on the east coast. How about our Euro or Asian members?

I have a big half moon window in my living room. Sitting on my laptop and I see this green streak across the sky. I thought it was fireworks at first. I am guessing it was part of the meteor shower.

Bright green though which I found interesting.

That seals it. I was debating whether or not to drive somewhere dark with the camera. Guess I have no choice now.

How dark is it where you live? As in light pollution.

Little to no light pollution where I am. Skies are crystal clear. I haven't seen anything further (with the exception of 3 doe grazing on my front lawn).

Yeah, clear here too. I think if I go out on the peninsula, over the ocean it should be dark enough.

              Will see (no pun intended).

Pouring rain here ..and windy as all get out.. Not going to be able to see any meteor zooming through the sky.

Funny... a memory I have as a kid was being out in the boonies at my Grandmother's in Alabama and everyone laying outside one night on blankets in the grass and watching the shooting stars.
