Need advice. Building version 2 of SoloGirlIndex.

Hey everyone, after a long time, I'm finally gonna start writing version 2 of SoloGirlIndex.

You can see version 1 on www.bodsforthemods.com/archive/ or www.lustfulasians.com to see it out of it's original design.

Can anyone give me features they'd like to see?

Most trade scripts are setup to work easy through any script, well, except maybe wordpress, but that's another story.

I'm debating putting my own trade system into the script in near versions, probably not this version though.

Actually, I think 1-2 galleries per model per day will bring you more sales. Then you can also rotate thumbs and gain more bookmarks.

The link list on left should be sorted by converting models - and optional by alphabet.

If a solosite is part of a network, you should tell surfers so.

Might also be a good idea to categorize and tag "themes". Blondes, brunettes, hardcore etc.

You should not cloak referal codes, using the same domain. Use a dedicated domain instead - otherwise SE might penalize your domain.

Apparently, you guys don't see the real reason behind this script? It's an index script, for solo girls... hence the name, Solo Girl Index...

Thumbs aren't meant to rotate, they are meant to show you who the page is of, when you click it, instead of just text.

If they don't wanna use the cloak they don't have too, but it's not frowned upon by google as long as it's done properly.

Sort by converting models? So you want me to make a $75 script log in to every sponsor and check stats to sort a list? Come on... Seriously?

I'm pretty positive you're not understanding this thread, or script...

Well, from my experience, the links and thumbs on top/mainpage, are naturally the ones getting most visits. So those are the ones you should give priority. You do not need to log in to every sponsor, but with some overall stats tracking, you get the idea. Eventually make something like "hottest" or "top ##", and then sort alphabetically. And new models should definitively be announced on mainpage.
If model A gets 10k hits with a ratio 1:5k, while model Z have a ratio of 1:500 and only 1k hits - then why not place her on top instead? If your objective is "just" indexing, then ok. But for targeted sales, I think my suggestion is better.

Without nofollow, cloaking can be penalized. Besides that, with a dedicated domain, you can centralize the referal codes too for use on other websites

comments, ratings, social stuff ... option for bigger thumb on the model page. some kind of categories so if you liked ann angel you can find other blondes for example. or maybe sort the main index on other ways than alphabetical. some what to indicate the newest or most clicked models.

Ok, I see what you mean now, yes I plan on putting in 2 new sections "Most viewed" and "Recently Added".

With the cloaking I can make it sort them by a better ratio than most viewed, because I can make the cloaker count clicks and if the viewed page is say 1000 views, and the cloaked url is clicked 500 times, then it has a ratio of 50% therefore if it's the best ratio, it's shown higher up the list.

And like I said, I'm not forcing users to use the cloaked url, it's just there to make it easier. So if they have their own click tracking script and wanna use that, then so be it.

Well, I'm not talking about user behaviour, but SE. If bodsforthemods.com/archive/18magazine/join/ shows up at google, and someone click that link on google, they end up at the paysite - and not bodsforthemods.com.
I'm not an SEO expert, and maybe someone can enlighten us on this and how it affect the domain in general, but I'm pretty sure Google consider it tricky. So, better safe than sorry

What I mean is that if google index redirections, then surfers from google are not ending up at the actually indexed domain. That could be penalized, and affect the hole domain. So, if the script is made for SEO, it should also guide the customer not to do it, like it's done above.
