I agree with you 100% that Rogers is very good and has a brilliant future in mma. But he showed a total lack of class at the end, and Fedor, was as humble as ever.

I gotta give Rogers a pass on his post fight comments. I am no Brett Rogers fan, but the guy was essentially a MMA part-timer until recently. He went from changing tires at Sam's Club to fighting the best fighter in MMA, and who knows what would have happened if he actually followed his game plan.

I really think Rogers went in there with the intention of slugging it out with Fedor, but when the bell rang he suddenly realized "Holy shit, that's fucking Fedor across the cage from me!" and his nerves went to shit. I can't blame him for that, because if I was in a suit of armor carrying a baseball bat I would still try and climb over the top of the cage and run for my life.

Brett Rogers is a guy that has one notable win on his record against a guy that might never be the same again, and he was thrown to the wolves. He probably thought about what happened and realized that the outcome could have been different if he had let his hands go, since he did significant damage even though he was fighting like a deer in the headlights. I think he was just mad at himself for coming so far and not giving his best effort, and the emotion of that carried over to the post fight interview...

Fedor is the best fighter on the planet, hands down.

fedor is awesome. however, by reading this thread, i thought rogers got knocked out in the first 10 seconds. jesus you people are retards. the guy was a fucking tire changer at sams club or some place less than 6 months ago and he's only had a couple real fights... steps up to the worlds best whos been competing at this level for most of his life, and fighting MMA for years against the best of the best and almost took him down. his career is just starting. fedors is winding down.

Fedor caught him right on the button and he was out cold. The ref might have been a little quick with the stoppage, but there is no doubt that the guy was finished after that.

Here is the reality...Fedor won a fight against a guy that wasn't even the best heavyweight in Strikeforce, let alone MMA. I am a HUGE Fedor fan, but let's call a spade a spade, there are plenty of "USA" fighters in the UFC that he should be testing himself against, so don't make it seem like he fought the best heavyweight in the world and dominated...
