Amazing how the republicans give him NOTHING, but he keeps on moving in their direction. My hunch is that he is doing exactly the right thing when both sides hate on him.

So, you believe that he (Obama) actually has power to do something?
He makes $400k/yr.
Guess how much Goldman Sachs makes. What about the collective Billderberg Group?Last edited by Voodoo; 04-01-2010, 08:19 PM.

That's usually the case. Great presidents govern somewhat from the center, but with a nod to the base.I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I wish I was drinking wine instead.Comment

well if you read into what he has proposed, he has given the green light to explore, not drill, may be years before they can drill. Also, he cut out california, with the economy of california in the shitter, that would have made enough to fix that.
So yes, good intentions, but fails to get anything done.
I fear that was just a political move
They already know where the oil is, exploring for it is a waste of time, they have known where the oil is for decades, ever been to Santa Barbara?Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about thatComment

Obama gets to choose where to make billion dollar investments. He makes $400k for himself (that has nothing to do with the financial talks he does that influence billions of dollars of spending).
Looks like the drilling operations are going to expand in the Atlantic.Send me an email: [email protected]Comment

You are what they call a Debbie Downer. As far as California. Well even the Governor doesn't want drilling off his coast and he's a republican. Now do we respect state's right or not?well if you read into what he has proposed, he has given the green light to explore, not drill, may be years before they can drill. Also, he cut out california, with the economy of california in the shitter, that would have made enough to fix that.
