Need ideas for making money in Los Angeles..

So I'ma be out there 2-3 weeks,
Cash is very limited but I want to change that
I'm figuring on having someone loan me a couple stacks to hustle with out there, just some small time shit to raise cash... need to know where to do my buying and plan on selling on CL

I was hustling with this guy earlier this year, man, craigslist is beautiful ... you got a truck you can go out and get free shit, post it using your mobile device and sell it all on the way back to the shop... no fucking shit man it's beautiful

My partner was making $15,000+ just doing stupid shit on CL .. washers and dryers for fuck sake.. I thought he was stupid for fucking with big heavy shit. But he wasn't. He would get $500 sets FREE all day long. Then sell them to someone who would "trade in" a better set than what we were selling them.. 8 of 10 had "trade ins" we could sell for at LEAST $250

If that crazy idiot was doing 15 on silly shit like washers and dryers.. ... ten times that should be possible if one does not limit themselves. Considering that LA is 100 times bigger than where we were, the potential is there.

Keep laughing man I've done some amazing shit in my life. When you were twelve and just discovering your little pee pee I was twelve and hustling cable television equipment making more than your parents.

I'm confused.. you know how to make stacks on Craigslist but you need to borrow some $ to come out to LA and "hustle"..how? What are you going to buy w the $ and how are you going to make $ off of that? Are you looking to come to LA to buy some junk to sell on Craigslist?

i lived out there a couple years ago. u definitely have the numbers on yur side. i used to tell people find a way to get a dollar from everyone in LA and you'd be rich. "save LA" stickers or something would achieve that.

i wonder how many people have resorted to hustling because of the economy. there's probably bit actors slinging tvs these days.

no one trying to make money in this recession is a "joke". gfy might not be yur peer group tho lol

Here is what you do. Get a truck. Post on CL that you will haul away people's unwanted scrap metal for free. They call you and you go pick it up and sell it to a recycle center. Last year I had a carport that had a sheet metal roof. It collapsed under the the pressure of a huge snow storm. I stacked it all up, called a guy from CL and he came and got it. We were talking and he was saying how he does this just on the weekends and makes $400-$700 a day on the weekends getting people's scrap metal. Now he has some contacts and they will just call him so he is having to scramble less and less. It isn't a mint, but it is a nice second income.
