I actually received the first Xmas presents from the UK this morning, for my 2 year old - my parents were worried about the postal strike possibility - it's nearly 2 months until Christmas for fucks sake.

Yeah, overstocks ad is annoying too. They also suck d*ck for caving into the state of new york who tries to bully affiliate programs to collect state taxes, so in return affiliate programs ban people from New York State (overstock uses cj):

yeah..i ususally procrastinate & do the december 24th shopping spree. You'd be amazed at the wall to wall dudes at the mall. No ladies at all.

This year i will have it done before 11/15. i have to, because i have to close my credit card by 11/30 because they are raising my rate to 30% for no reason. Just a big fuck you for being a great customer.

I truly wish i could find joy during the holidays. but the 4PM sunsets, cold weather, & deluge of crappy christmas marketing makes me depressed. It goes away christmas day, & i party to new years & everything is well with the world.

I would not close it man, just leave it open and make 2 purchases with it a year and pay them off. You close it and they fuck your report even more. I had a few cards who jacked the rate and they are no longer used. Yet I left them open.

You should live here in Australia! Christmas seems to begin at the end of October. Driving through some nearby towns last week I saw 2 shops with Christmas trees already in their windows and more than one store with Santa painted on their windows wishing 'Our customers a very Happy Christmas!'
