A decade is a period of ten years. The term usually refers to a period of ten years starting at a multiple of ten. For example, "the 1990s" refers to 1990 through to 1999.
But in case u still don't get it ...
2000 (Jan 1st - Dec 31st) = year 1
2001 (Jan 1st - Dec 31st) = year 2
2002 = year 3
2003 = year 4
2004 = year 5
2005 = year 6
2006 = year 7
2007 = year 8
2008 = year 9
2009 = year 10

Wow... I am speechless. Really. Think about it. Pretend 2000 and 2001 have a value of 1, WHICH THEY DO IN TERMS OF DECADES but bear with me. So that means 1+1=2 not 1. Now follow me and I will apply the same values to the remaining years.

You really are an idiot. Just because the first year of a decade (which is ALWAYS 1980, 1990, 2000) has a 0 in it, doesn't mean it HAS a value of zero. It is actually 1 as far as the decade starting point ending with 9 which = 10.
See my simple math above that you seem unable to grasp.
Mind boggling. My kids can count to 10 without turning it into an 11 and when corrected thinking we are counting to 9. WTF! I would be embarrassed of myself if I were you.

1 TB? damn, you are way behind your times. 1.5 TB drives are standard and matured, 2TB are being sold but I don't trust them yet.
By the way, iphones are a tech progress, the smallest computer around to read your mail, check web sites, etc.
Only thing missing is an optional full size keyboard via bluetooth or cable. That would allow me to write blog posts and substantial emails.

For me, this decade has been awesome, and has gotten much much much better in the second half than in the first half.
